黄炳钧(JohnnyWong)，Newton资深科学编辑。先后获香港理工大学应用物理学士、英国约克大学电子学博士，曾任欧盟玛丽居里学者，在荷兰特温特大学和新加坡国立大学研究纳米自旋电子学和二维材料。2024年加入CelPress担任Newton创刊资深编辑，负责处理凝聚态物理领域的稿件。此前为西北工业大学正教授、国家级学位与科研项目评审专家，发表学术论文80余篇。

Newton, the flagship physics journal from Cell Press, launched in 2024 as thelatestadditionto the publisher's expanding physical science portfolio. The journal seeks topublishtransformativeresearch across the full breadth of physics-from fundamental theory toappliedandinterdisciplinary fields, including condensed matter physics,opticsand photonics,quantumscience, biophysics, soft matter, and AI-X. In this talk, I will discuss Newton's editorial vision,itscommitmentto rigorous peer review and author service, and offer practical insights into navigatingthe publishing process at Cell Press.
